The Murder of Polly Perkins! Polly Perkins worked in Monk Coniston as a chambermaid and never really said much to any one BUT Polly had a secret and she was dying to tell someone but alas one cold February morning while she was dusting the china Polly‘s life ended abruptly… can you solve The Murder of Polly Perkins! On arrival at your Murder Mystery Weekend pay particular attention to everything you see and hear. All may not be as it seems! The weekend will soon turn grizzly as events start to unfold. BEWARE MURDERERS MAY BE AMONGST US! Be sure to have a notebook and pen with you at all times. You will need these to gather relevant clues and information as you and you’re your fellow guests turn detectives, attempting to unravel the dastardly plot. The History of Monk Coniston Hall! Originally belonging to the monks of Furness Abbey, the Monk Coniston estate was developed in the late 18th and early 19th-centuries and is a Grade 11 listed building owned by the National Trust but leased to HF Holidays and was a favourite place for Beatrix Potter and her brother to visit. The house has stunning views across Coniston water and the gardens have an impressive collection of exotic conifers planted largely from the early 19th century with a restored walled garden and a gazebo.
