Murders Most Horrid is a small, friendly company specialising in hosting fun packed, high quality Murder Mystery Weekends and Dinner Parties in castles, stately homes and country house hotels.

Murders Most Horrid combines detective work, camaraderie and lots of laughter, with first class hotel accommodation and dining. They are ideal for individuals, couples or groups.

Murder Mystery Weekend

Coniston, 24th-26th February 2012

Originally belonging to the monks of Furness Abbey, the Monk Coniston estate was developed in the late 18th and early 19th-centuries and is a Grade 11 listed building owned by the National Trust but leased to HF Holidays and was a favourite place for Beatrix Potter and her brother to visit.

The house has stunning views across Coniston water and the gardens have an impressive collection of exotic conifers planted largely from the early 19th century with a restored walled garden and a gazebo.

Beware murderers may be amongst us!

On arrival at your Murder Mystery Weekend pay particular attention to everything you see and hear. All may not be as it seems! The weekend will soon turn grizzly as events start to unfold.
